Refund policy and billing mistakes
Can I get a refund? I was charged twice, or charged after cancelling.
Completed purchases, renewals and unused time are not refunded, but CoreX refunds its own errors: a duplicate charge, a wrong amount, a charge after cancellation took effect, or a server it could not provide.
Before you start: The invoice numbers involved, and your bank statement if you think you were charged twice.
Step by step
- Open Billing > Invoices and compare them with your bank statement. A "pending" authorisation that disappears after a few days is not a real second charge.
- If the same invoice was really paid twice, or you were charged after your cancellation took effect, open a ticket from the client area with the invoice numbers.
- If you simply changed your mind, cancel so it does not renew (Billing > Cancel). The server keeps running until the end of the paid period; that time is not refunded.
- Approved error refunds go back to the original card. CoreX sends it at once; your bank decides how long it takes to show (often 5 to 10 working days).
- Do not open a chargeback before contacting CoreX: a chargeback suspends the account while the payment provider investigates.
Check it worked: For an error refund, the ticket confirms the refund and it appears on your statement within your bank's time.
Why it happens: The Terms make all sales final, with exceptions for CoreX errors and refunds required by law.
Billing errors are handled by staff; include invoice numbers, never card numbers.
