Whitelist players

How do I turn on the whitelist and add players?

Turn the whitelist on (Quick Settings or whitelist on) and add each player with whitelist add Name.

Before you start: The players' exact Minecraft names.

Step by step

1. Add yourself first with whitelist add YourName, so you are not locked out.
2. Turn it on with whitelist on in the console, or in Quick Settings.
3. Also turn on enforce-whitelist in Quick Settings to kick online players who are not on the list.
4. Add friends with whitelist add Name, and remove them with whitelist remove Name.
5. See everyone on the list with whitelist list (it is stored in whitelist.json).
6. Bedrock players who join through Floodgate are added with fwhitelist add Name.

Check it worked: Only listed players can join.

Why it happens: With the whitelist on, only listed players can join.
