Use the console

How do I run commands on my server from the panel?

Type commands in the box at the bottom of the Console tab, without the leading slash.

Before you start: The server running (the status at the top says Running).

Step by step

1. Open your server; the panel opens on the Console tab.
2. Click the command box at the bottom, type a command without "/" (for example say Hello or time set day) and press Enter.
3. The result appears in the console output above. Plugin commands work the same way (for example lp user Steve info).
4. Use save-all to write the world to disk right away, for example before a backup.
5. Use stop to shut down cleanly; it is the same as the Stop button.
6. If the output scrolls too fast, search it with Ctrl+F, or read the full log in Files > logs/latest.log.

Check it worked: The command's result shows in the console.

Why it happens: The console runs commands as the server itself, with full permission.
