Run several worlds on one server

Can I have survival, creative and a minigame world on one server?

Yes, with a multiworld plugin like Multiverse-Core on Paper/Purpur.

Before you start: Multiverse-Core from the Plugins tab, and op on yourself.

Step by step

1. Install Multiverse-Core (and Multiverse-Portals if you want portals) and restart the server.
2. Create a new world with mv create creative normal, or import an uploaded folder with mv import myworld normal.
3. Go there with mv tp creative, and come back with mv tp world.
4. Set each world's gamemode: mv modify set gamemode creative creative.
5. Stop creative items leaking into survival with an inventories plugin such as Multiverse-Inventories.
6. Use LuckPerms permissions (multiverse.access.<world>) to control who can enter which world.
7. Each extra world uses memory while players are in it, so keep an eye on Statistics.

Check it worked: You can move between worlds with /mv tp.

Why it happens: Vanilla runs one world (plus Nether and End); plugins add more.
