Roll back griefing with CoreProtect

Someone griefed my build. How do I undo it?

CoreProtect logs every block change; inspect who did it and roll back their changes by time and radius.

Before you start: CoreProtect installed before the griefing happened (it cannot see earlier changes).

Step by step

  1. Inspect: /co i then click blocks to see who changed them and when. Run /co i again to stop.
  2. Preview a rollback: /co rollback u:Griefer t:2h r:30 #preview (user, time, radius).
  3. Run it for real without #preview.
  4. Undo a rollback if needed: /co restore with the same options.
  5. Ban the player and check your permissions so it cannot happen again.
  6. If CoreProtect was not installed, restore a backup instead.
  7. Keep CoreProtect's data under control with its purge command (/co purge t:30d) so it does not fill the disk.

Check it worked: The build is back and the griefer's changes are gone.

Why it happens: Without a logging plugin, only a backup can undo griefing.
