Find your server address and connect
What address do I type in Minecraft to join my server?
The address is at the top of your server panel; add it in Minecraft under Multiplayer > Add Server.
Before you start: Minecraft Java Edition on the same version as the server (or ViaVersion installed).
Step by step
- Open your server from the dashboard. Copy the address from the top of the panel exactly: host and port, for example 203.0.113.10:25580, or your free name like myserver.corex-hosting.com.
- Click the copy button next to the address so you do not mistype it.
- In Minecraft: Multiplayer > Add Server. Name it anything, paste the address into Server Address, press Done.
- Make sure the server shows Running in the panel (press Start if not) and the console says "Done".
- Select it in the list and Join. The ping bars should show within a few seconds.
- Share exactly the same address with friends. If you set up a free name in Network, they can use that instead (no port needed).
Check it worked: The server appears in the multiplayer list with ping bars, and Join works.
Why it happens: Servers without a dedicated IP share the node's IP with their own port, so the port is part of the address.
