Connection refused
Minecraft says "Connection refused: no further information".
Nothing is answering on that address and port: the server is off or still starting, or the address/port is wrong.
Before you start: The panel open on your server.
Step by step
- Check the panel status. If it is Offline, press Start and wait for "Done" in the console.
- If it is Starting, wait: modpacks can take a few minutes. Join only after "Done".
- Compare the address you typed with the one at the top of the panel, especially the port after the colon.
- Open server.properties (Files) and check server-port matches the panel's port. If someone changed it, set it back and restart.
- If you run a proxy (Velocity/BungeeCord), players must join the proxy's address, not a backend server.
- Remove and re-add the server in Minecraft to clear an old saved address.
- After a change of plan or a dedicated IP, the address may have changed: always copy the current one from the panel.
Check it worked: The multiplayer list shows the server online and you can join.
Why it happens: A refused connection means the machine is reachable but the Minecraft server is not listening on that port.
If the server is Running with the right port and still refuses, send support the server ID and the address you use.
