Server AI rules and AI Settings

How do I control what the AI may do on my server?

Add standing rules in the AI Builder tab and tune the AI Settings tab (over 40 settings: model, file access, console access, approval, restarts, in-game use and permissions).

Before you start: The AI Builder add-on.

Step by step

  1. Rules: in AI Builder, add lines like "Use MiniMessage colours" or "Never change the economy". They apply to every request, below CoreX's safety rules.
  2. Open AI Settings in the sidebar.
  3. What the AI can touch: turn file types on or off, list protected or hidden paths, choose console access (none, read logs, or run commands after apply).
  4. Applying changes: choose Automatically or After my approval, the reload/restart strategy, the restart warning and automatic rollback.
  5. In-game: turn /ai on or off, set cooldowns, daily limits, allowed or blocked players, and who sees results.
  6. Who can use each command: op, everyone or nobody per command. Save; the plugin picks up changes within a minute.

Check it worked: Tasks follow the rules and settings; refused actions show "turned off in AI Settings" in the task log.

Why it happens: Rules guide how the AI works; settings are enforced by CoreX so the AI cannot go beyond them.
