Get started with the AI Server Builder
What is the AI Server Builder and how do I turn it on?
It is an optional monthly add-on per server that changes your server by describing it in plain words; add it at checkout or from the AI Builder tab, then connect an AI provider key (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama and more).
Before you start: A CoreX server, a card for the add-on, and an account with an AI provider (for example console.anthropic.com or platform.openai.com) with credit.
Step by step
- Open your server and click AI Builder in the sidebar.
- Click Add AI Builder and pay the monthly add-on (prorated to your renewal date).
- At your AI provider, create an API key and copy it (the AI provider box links to the right page for each provider).
- Back in AI Builder, choose the provider, paste the key and click Connect. CoreX checks it with the provider, encrypts it, and never shows it again. Then pick the model you want from the list your key can use.
- Type a request, for example "Add a /discord command that shows our invite link", and press Send.
- Watch the progress bar; when it says Done, the change is live. Open the task to see exactly which files changed.
Check it worked: The task shows Done and the change works on your server.
Why it happens: The AI edits configs, Skript scripts and datapacks, validates them, backs up and applies them, and can roll back.
