Delete your CoreX account

How do I delete my CoreX account and data?

Cancel and let every server end first, download anything you want to keep, then ask support to delete the account.

Before you start: Backups or downloads of any worlds and files you want to keep.

Step by step

1. For each server: take a backup, then download the world and important files from Backups or Files (or with SFTP). After deletion nothing can be recovered.
2. Cancel each server under Billing. Choose end of period to keep it until the paid time runs out, or immediately if you are done.
3. Pay or settle any open invoices so nothing is left owing.
4. Open a ticket from the client area (Support) from the account itself and ask for account deletion.
5. Support confirms by email when the account has been removed.
6. Signing in with Google again later would create a brand-new, empty account.

Check it worked: You receive the deletion confirmation and can no longer sign in with the old account.

Why it happens: An account with running servers or unpaid invoices cannot be removed without losing or leaving those behind.

Account deletion is always done by support.
