Bedrock player cannot connect
Java players join but Bedrock players get "Unable to connect to world".
Check Geyser is running on the right UDP port and that the player uses the Bedrock port, not the Java one.
Before you start: Geyser installed.
Step by step
- Look in the console after startup for Geyser's "Started Geyser on …" line and note the port.
- Have the player add the server manually with the host and that port.
- Update Geyser and Floodgate: Bedrock updates often need a new Geyser.
- Consoles (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch) cannot add custom servers directly; players use workarounds like BedrockConnect (general advice, not supported by CoreX).
- If Floodgate is off, Bedrock players need a linked Java account.
Check it worked: The Bedrock player joins.
Why it happens: Most failures are a wrong port, Geyser not starting, or console restrictions.
