Phishing: emails or messages pretending to be CoreX
I got a message asking for my password or card. Is it CoreX?
No: CoreX never asks for your password, card number, two-factor code, API key or token.
Before you start: The message.
Step by step
- Do not click links, open attachments or reply to the message.
- Check the sender: real emails come from corex-hosting.com addresses, and Discord staff never ask for passwords in DMs.
- Go to corex-hosting.com by typing it yourself instead of following links.
- If you entered your password on a fake page, reset it now and turn on two-factor.
- If you entered card details, call your bank to block the card.
- Report the message to support with a screenshot.
Check it worked: Your account is secure and the report is sent.
Why it happens: Scammers copy company names and logos.
